Pronation

I have come across about this subject. Pronation is a term used to describe the natural movement of the foot during running or walking. It refers to the inward rolling of the foot that occurs as the foot strikes the ground and absorbs shock. Pronation is a normal and necessary motion, as it helps to distribute the impact of each step evenly throughout the foot and lower leg. However, excessive pronation can cause issues such as overuse injuries, such as plantar fasciitis and shin splints. It's important for runners to be aware of their pronation type and select appropriate footwear to support their natural foot motion. Shoes with motion control and stability features are recommended for runners with overpronation, while those with neutral pronation may benefit from shoes with cushioning and flexibility. Proper footwear selection and regular foot exercises can help to reduce the risk of injury and ensure a comfortable and efficient run.
